Between September 2019 to September 2020, I spent time in Armenia working for the non-profit Armenia Tree Project. Living there for a year was a life-changing experience; as an American-born Armenian, I had never been to my homeland. It was, indeed, a journey to self-discovery. I learned how to speak and write Armenian, traveled throughout the entire country, and grew close to my roots.
